About Tim :

Tim Bone first captured Australia’s attention as a MasterChef Australia Season 11 semi-finalist, winning fans with his warm personality and big, honest flavours. Before food became his full-time career, Tim spent many years in Ballarat supporting children with special needs and running community kitchen programs — an experience that continues to shape his approach to food, generosity and connection.

Today, Tim is co-host of Channel 10’s Good Chef Bad Chef and the founder of Tim’s Toasties, a Ballarat-based gourmet toastie brand known for celebrating local produce, bold flavour combinations and a strong sense of community.

Alongside television and his business, Tim regularly appears at cooking demonstrations and food events and is thrilled to once again be part of Sovereign Hill’s Heritage Harvest Weekend, one of his favourite weekends on Ballarat’s events calendar.
