Heritage Harvest Weekend is where old-world traditions meet fresh, seasonal flavours – a celebration of the past, served up for modern tastes.

In the gold rush, strangers became communities, gathering around shared meals, trading stories, skills, and the flavours of home.

Today, we honour those traditions – learning from the land, celebrating autumn’s harvest, and carrying forward the knowledge and skills of those who came before us.

Heritage Harvest Weekend is a feast of local flavours and creativity, celebrating the best of our region’s produce with market stalls brimming with homemade goods and gourmet treats, hand-on craft sessions for the little ones, and live cooking demonstrations.

Heritage Harvest Weekend is presented as part of the City of Ballarat's Heritage Festival (21-24 May) . The City of Ballarat is a major event partner of Sovereign Hill.
